Gatlinburg Inn

My husband and I came here for Christmas.... let me just say, this place is absolutely gorgeous. The location is perfect right in the heart of town. The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING. I sure am gonna miss those biscuits and gravy. All the staff is so friendly and Ms. Bunny is super sweet. I cannot say enough good things about the Gatlinburg Inn. Until we make it back, God bless you all.

I want to share my experience. Stayed in November 2023. The hotel is right on the main Gatlinburg strip within walking distance of so many fun things to do, shopping, and attractions. That is the absolute best thing about it. It has a charming look. There are two sitting areas which I can say at Christmas time are cozy, with lots of seating to relax with your family/friends in the evening. Love that. The breakfast buffet was just ok, would skip unless want convenience. The room was very nice size, bathroom updated and nice. The carpet needs to be replaced badly. The walls are way too thin, need more insulation or updating. Can hear people talking and coughing like they are in your room. The bed was comfortable. The employees were pleasant I suppose, but not as friendly as I expected to be a local (non-chain) hotel. Lastly, the furniture. I understand it is historic and you want things to be old and antique, however, not one piece of furniture in the rooms was comfortable to sit in. You should have someone build suitable, functional furniture for the rooms with an antique look so people can relax in their room when desired.

So beautiful, so much history. Every sitting room takes you back in time. They are beautifully decorated and so very cozy. The halls are lined with historic photos and stories of the Inn. The location of the Inn is just about smack dab center of town so easy access to all attractions. Every room I entered was absolutely spotless. All but one of the rooms / suites has a balcony. Fantastic FULL breakfast every morning. Every staff member I encountered was super friendly and always had a smile! I highly recommend this Inn and am already planning a return stay, in warmer weather!

This is a quaint and unique hotel. It is very old and has a cozy feel to it. The bathroom had been remodeled and was nice. The room was very clean. The included breakfast was excellent. Not at all like your typical hotel breakfasts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location with it being right in the middle of town and easy walking distance to most activities, restaurants and bar. We would definitely stay the again.

Great place on the middle of everything. Rooms are Dated, but the place has been around a long time. Rooms were clean. Only real disappointment was that there was no mini fridge. We showed up the weekend of the songwriters festival. Live music playing all through the night, songwriters/musicians wandering around everywhere, it was GREAT! We took off for a weekend to relax with no plans to do anything in particular. Was amazed at the talent and everyone was so friendly. The staff was careful to warn people of noise from the music. I said sign us up. Basically turned what would have been a quiet uneventful weekend and turned it into a great experience. Will definitely be back.

First time ever visiting Historic Gatlinburg Inn...Such an amazing experience,like being at Grandma's house...Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable...Staff was very nice.. The breakfast was amazing with wonderful selections. Location was perfect, did not have to get in my car and drive anywhere... Loved how nostalgic this place feels, can not believe I had never stayed here. Will definitely stay again.
